I had my first experience working with Rachel on the short film ‘The Squeaky Wheel’ in 2018 when we hired her as our Unit Stills Photographer. Rachel was perfect on the shoot – invisible when we wanted her to be and incredibly helpful when we needed the opposite. She listened carefully to what we needed from the behind the scenes photos and just got on with it. We didn’t need to worry about her after that, her reliability is only beaten by her photography itself.

We have now worked with Rachel several times and I can honestly say I’m always so excited when her photos arrive. It’s hard to put into words how she manages to not only keep her images creative and interesting but also so natural. Each one seems to capture a specific moment perfectly and the collection tells the whole story of our shoot – exactly what you need from a photographer. She also puts extensive work into her edits afterward, so the album has a beautiful look that’s consistent too – not only does Rachel do this, but she somehow manages to do it quickly.

Lastly, Rachel is a wonderfully warm character that is loved by cast and crew alike. She makes a fantastic addition to any set and she will certainly be part of our next shoot. Her personality is as likable as her professionalism and she becomes and instant friend to everyone working on the project.
